We partnered with creator Glenna Burmer to bring her vision of Yokaitopia to the screen—a world where Japanese yokai (supernatural creatures and spirits) exist alongside humans in atmospheric, richly detailed environments.
This animated short invited us to build a universe filled with folklore, mystery, and character. From forest spirits to mythical beings, every frame required careful attention to cultural authenticity, visual storytelling, and the kind of atmospheric world-building that draws audiences in and doesn’t let go.

Yokaitopia is currently making its way through the festival circuit, showcasing what happens when deep respect for folklore meets contemporary animation craft. We’re proud to have been part of bringing Glenna’s unique vision to life.
